JOHNSON WARNS ILU-ABO PROTESTERS TO SHUN VIOLENCE - EMBRACE PEACEFUL RESOLUTION.


The Chairman Akure North Local Government, Hon. Johnson Ogunbolude has appeal to Ilu-Abo protesters to avoid violent attack on law abiding residents of the state and commuters along Ilu-Abo/Owo road. 


The chairman in a statement express confidence in the security agencies in handling the security situation in Akure North Local Government. He said a meeting was held recently with the state governor, heads of security agencies and community leaders from Ilu-Abo on how the recently kidnapped victims will regain their freeedom and also have the perpetrators apprehended and brought to book. 


The council boss pleaded with the protesters to remain calm and avoid escalating the security situation in Akure North Local Government. He stress that any attempt to escalate may impede or frustrate the efforts of the security agencies who are working tirelessly to ensure peace in Akure North Local Government.


He further reiterated that his administration is leaving no stone unturned on security situation of Akure North.
