HON. OGUNBOLUDE JOHNSON OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES BURSARY AWARD FOR TERTIARY STUDENTS IN AKURE

 NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SOLICITS FOR STUDENTS' SUPPORT FOR SMOOTHE ADMINISTRATION

The Students' Union Body of Akure North Local Government was represented by members of the executive were today present at the official flag-off ceremony of bursary award for tertiary institution students in Akure North Local Government. 


The event which took place at the NULGE house in Akure North Local Government Secretariate have the presence of the members of the executive, members the legislative arm led by the leader of the house, Hon. Tolulope Adanri and administrative head of the local government.


Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson in his speech emphasized the necessity and importance of bursary award in order to relieve the students of some financial burden. He charged the students to always cooperate with the government at all levels. 


The L.G boss further stressed his committment towards ensuring that tertiary institution students in Akure North Local Government are adequately taken care of under his administration's welfare program.


A sum of 2 million naira is to be distributed among 200 beneficiaries across tertiary instititions in Nigeria. The students representatives who are the first beneficiaries of the award expressed their joy and showed their gratitude to the chairman for his magnanimity and generousity towards Akure North students. 


Speaking on behalf of the students, the president of the National Assaciation of Akure North Students NAANS, Com. Ibukun Mercy promised the students' unwavering support for Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson's administration and also 

prayed for guidance and success of the administration.
