INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT AT AKURE NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAT.


The Akure North Local Government Secretariat is set to witness a remarkable transformation in the coming weeks, as the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson, continues to demonstrate unwavering commitment to infrastructural development within the council premises.


In fulfillment of his campaign promises to both citizens and staff of Akure North Local Government, the Chairman has initiated several projects aimed at improving and beautifying the Secretariat. These developments are expected to boost staff morale, enhance efficiency, and promote greater dedication to public service among local government workers.


During a recent visit by the Chairman’s media team to the project sites, a noticeable sense of excitement and satisfaction was observed among staff members, reflecting widespread approval of the ongoing improvements.


Some of the key projects currently underway within the Secretariat include:

 1. Comprehensive renovation of the old Secretariat building.

 2. General refurbishment of the new Secretariat complex.

 3. Landscaping from the entrance to the main Secretariat complex.

 4. Renovation of the Secretariat gate.


Senior staff members have expressed optimism that if this pace of development is sustained, Akure North Local Government will be significantly transformed, leaving the council far better than it was met. They commended Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson for his efforts and encouraged him to remain steadfast, noting that his contributions will be remembered and judged positively in the future.
